Radish is very good nutritious root vegetables found worldwide. You can take this as raw in a salad or in curry.
In China, the very popular proverb is that “Eating pungent radish and drinking hot tea, let the starved doctor beg on their knees.
It is believed that radish along with cabbage and tofu is a very good healthy food.
There are several health benefits of radish-
1. Increase the appetite –
You can take raw radish with a meal to increase the appetite, it also increases the taste of the food.
2. Radish has a good antipyretic effect, it decreases the fever.
3. For Piles –
It is very much effective for relief piles. For the best result, you can take the soup of dried radish.
4. Good nutrient and increase stamina –
Taking of radish in the winter season is proved as stamina enhancer and it increases the stamina of the body.
5. Decrease abdominal cramp and indigestion –
Taking of radish juice along with few drops of lemon juice given very good relief from indigestion and abdominal pain. Take this after the meal.
6. Decrease Oedema –
Taking of 5/6 tablespoon of radish leaf juice decreases the generalized swelling of the body. Take this twice a day for the best effective result.
7. Decreases Toxin from the body –
Mix some sodium bicarbonate with the radish leaf juice. Take this every day for a few days remove the toxin from the urine. It also gives relief from obstruction from the bladder.
